Jurgens Autovilla 1974

  1. Sorry I have been away so long. Have you missed me :) Anyway Ihave been busy with my new project entitled Cheap and Cheerful over on the Earlbay as it is a crossover and I was confused. Thought you might like to see some pictures of my totally original Jurgens Autovilla, manufactured by the Jurgens Caravan Company of Kempton Park, just north of Johannesburg. It has an 1800cc Type 4 motor with 60,000km on the clock. I have 2 others, one an automatic. The interiors were made to a very high standad with real Indonesian rosewood veneers and the extensive use of aluminium extrusions, the downside being they were heavy and slow!

    Birdy Not Child Friendly

I didn't really know what to make of them other than a T2 with a caravan on the back but having seen those pictures I'm rather in love with them now. And that awning looks great too.

  6. I have got to say.We have really enjoyed ours since we got it.So much more comfortable than the pop top but not so big that you cannot park in most car parks, height restrictions allowing :)

  7. Very fine, function trumps form in this case!

  8.
  9. Very cool, and much more useable interior space than in my westy.

  10. Terrordales
