Gone far too young at 57. Anyone listening to Radio 4 will have enjoyed his humor over the years. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-47056671
my phone has pinged three times with different friends telling me the news. one of the nicest and funniest people to work with and sound politics too. News Quiz with Sandi, Jeremy and Andy Hamilton were the best. I thought of this when i first saw my nephews prep school uniforms https://audioboom.com/posts/751466-jeremy-hardy-s-news-quiz-buddha-rant
I do love The News Quiz. It’s a little bit knowingly clever at times in that slightly annoying but comforting way of Radio 4, but it’s my “go to” to listen to when I’m doing the washing up.
It’s good when Andy Hamilton and Mark Steele are on. But I know what you mean. I like listening. to old reruns of Just A Minute too
Saw him at college in the very early nineties, he was very funny but quite a few folk weren't ready for his rather radical and political humour, especially the religious, funnily enough.
