Jack Daniels single barrel whiskey

Treated myself to a bottle today whilst doing the shopping. First time I've tried it and I must say it is a most excellent whiskey. Very smooth to the palette, can actually be enjoyed straight without the burn like number 7. Bit dear but worth it.

 

And a nice shaped bottle.... however, for an amazing drink related experience you cannot beat George Dickel Tennessee whisky they also do a special select version which is the best in the world, not opinion but Fact

Never tried Dickson, shall have a look. Mash whiskey is next on my list of homebrew

 

I'm a big fan of Gentleman Jack myself.

To be honest, there is not a lot i dont like

 

We took a liking of Honey Rum one year whilst on holiday but boy it gave me a hangover headache of all headaches in the morning!

Well it was an all inclusive holiday & it would have been rude not too!

 

Mmmmmnnnnn JD! I like! Have tried Jim Beam? Sweeter.

 

Jim beam is a nice alternative if I can't get JD.

 

shoot me down! but im a a sucker for straight bells whiskey
just come back from a hol in the highlands tried £150 bottles of single malt and prity smooth but i need a bit of kick with my drink !
found a single blend whiskey lock lomand distillery £17 a bottle good stuff
didnt try the $8250 40 year stuff
had a few 20 year singles
tried all the blended stuff and cheap single malted gear but keep falling back on the old bells 8)
tried jd jb and a few other bourbons i like bells them bells! hicup!

 

Cant stand bells, too much burn. Very harsh to the pallet.

 

give me a blended at a good price which doesnt burn and i will sign up for life

 

by the way i dont feel the burn in the thoart i get warms on my tongue :
