Was chatting to a guy at work about a thread on here which was about the best/prefered carbs for a type 4 engine. I believe the most popular/wanted were Dellorto 40 He then says he thinks he has a pair in the back of his mums shed from the late 70s early 80s which if he can find i can have for free!! but i dont know much at all about this subject. he says their Dellorto 40 sidedrafts would these be ok for me? ( cu 2l type 4 auto) if so i guess i would need the linkage,manifolds,refurb kit and get them jetted, anything else?? as i say i dont know much about this so any info would be great cheers
Sounds like he has DHLA's and you want DRLA's, you really need to have a look at them. Davidoft has the right idea!
