    I was backpacking years ago in Africa, and ended up travelling with a random group of people, one of whom was called Con. We knew his surname and it was certainly nothing to do with that, but he’d never admit what his actual name was..... in the end we constructed an elaborate distraction tactic whilst one of us rifled though his tent looking for his passport - cruel, I know, but not as cruel as his parents apparently...... Cornelius!!

    I knew a lad who called himself Dilos. It eventually came out his name was Marc but Dilos was solid backwards - weirdo!
