Going to visit Stratford and then calling in at Fellows to replace my sump with one that you can take out the sump plug to do an oil change. Got my wife with me so can't just camp outside Fellows like last time.
I love the place but it's sooooo expensive now. Guess that's why he has a 911 tucked away in the shed
Paid over £500 for a week and a family of 4 for Ayr at st Ives at peak period, but worth it for the view alone and ease of getting into town. Compared to a week in Majorca during school holidays it's a bargain!
The C&CC sites seem to be priced about the same as a yacht marina. And offer fairly similar standards. While at Sandy Balls you are paying a premium for staff who have to be trained to safely say "Sandy Balls" without sniggering. Its actually quite a nice site and well placed for the New Forest. Tbe price keeps the oiks in their rotting VW vans with slammy sliders away. T4's I mean. Just paid £8 for a night at a C&CC approved site 1.5 miles from Stowe Gardens which had a working clean toilet and alpacas in the next field making silly noises.
They let me camp inside last time but with my wife this time and she wants toilet facilities etc so we need a campsite
Campsite prices seem to be getting extortionate, someone mentioned marina prices and I was just looking an overnight visitor mooring in Yarmouth Isle of Wight is £17 for a 29 ft boat ... I just need to buy a boat though! That does make the campsite seem expensive
I have a suitable boat , used to spend a month a year in various harbours around the Isle of Wight .. but my wife prefers the bus..
Ven,an island off Sweden wanted to charge us 60 for just a tent pitch...we are not going! half price on the mainland...
Paid over 40 euros in Spain. High season tho. Oy @mikedjames less of T4 comments! I heart my T4 (and my T2)
