I’ve got an annoying problem with my clutch pedal and as the PO converted it from LHD to RHD I think this may be the issue so I’m going to have to alter it so I’m after an original one as a starting point and this looks just like mine. But as you can see it’s not advertised as a clutch arm lol.
Are you sure this isnt an effect of using the wrong length clutch cable or the absence of the perfect curve on the outer where it goes from the bracket under the torsion tube to the bracket on the bellhousing. Getting that wrong makes the clutch snatch and judder, as the system uses the slight compression of the spring in the outer of the Bowden tube as tension builds on the inner to provide a bigger movement at the pedal end than the lever end just as tension builds round the biting point.
It’s has no issue changing gear but as you depress the pedal it wants to twist to the left and runs up and down the floor cause a very annoying squeak as you change gears. I’ve removed some steel to make the hole bigger but it just make the pedal move further left unless you angle your foot to push to the right. I assumed that the PO had setup the position of the bracket wrong during conversion so thought I would get one as a starting point for when I removed the old one.
This happens also on buses that haven't been converted, I would guess there is a little slack in the mountings that should allow for adjustment but as yours is converted, perhaps the conversion wasn't manly enough and is flexing?
Yes I had that thought as well hence I thought if I got and untouched one I would not be starting from maybe the wrong place and that part looks like mine but just want confirmation before purchasing is all.
Sorry I don't know but I wouldn't like you to waste your money. If you were to lie under while an assistant operated the pedal I'm sure you would quickly see what the problem is
