I have 2 x T2s, a camper and a crew cab I use as a daily. I have been having evil thoughts about swapping me crewie daily driver for a Ford Ranger or Galaxy. The way I see it the pro's for the VW are, no or little depreciation, no tax, cheap bits I can work on it myself £70 insurance. Con's are No heater, more comfortable, fuel economy.
You will forever regret selling you crewie for a ranger/galaxy - trust us! Keep it! Oh and Mrs B would do anything for a crewie - if Noah doesn't sell it may be what has to happen to him
ooooooooo don't mention syncro Para - Mr B still hangs after his one that he sold - and its back up for sale - good job we have no money spare at the moment - very expensive to maintain tho - mind you if it had of been a double cab, rather than single I think it would of still been here - in fact I know it would! :'(
Of course one is enough, as long as you have a Beetle, Buggy, Squareback, Fastback, Fridolin, Ghia or Thing to go with it.
A gorgeous RHD camper, plus a RHD crewcab..got to be the ultimate bay double act...easy decision...got to keep 'em both. Sell an arm or something, you never know...it could grow back but the minute you let one of your bays go you'll regret it forever.
I've got a split crew cab, T5 for comfort and a new beetle cab which is just parked in another garage cos I don't use it now. But would love an old beetle of Karmann Ghia too.
Weve got 2 beetles and our bus . still have space on the drive for a panel or crewbus, a beach buggy and trekker. Trouble is, owning any more would certainly push me over the edge into madness .
