  1. Packaging on stuff, and O.T.T. for products that really dont need it . Make it look bigger n better than it really is springs to mind. Should they be fined or made to pay ? How much do they spend on this packaging because we are paying for it!!

  2. They are, mate. I've given up trying to open blister-packed stuff without the aid of a Stanley knife (or angle-grinder, if it's really well packed)...

  3. If is very annoying especially wasted packing at the supermarket i.e a plastic bag for your cauliflower - why do we need it? The leaves protect it the bag is just a waste grrrrr

  4. Chinese plumbing stuff ! its easy to tell it was made in China because each and every part is in a seperate bag or bubble wrap wrapwrap , ( thats chinese for wrapping )

  7. I had to open a pack of stanley blades with a stanley knife:D

  8. And Mars Bars too. Only half the size of the packaging :(

  9. God that reminds me of working at Hoover, packing rubber drive bands....the saddest thing was, there was an old guy who'd worked there all his life, and he came over and said "it' a great job in winter....keeps your hands warm" he either carried Zen to the extent of being enlightened, or had accepted his lot in life at an early age....he seemed happy enough though....maybe something in it?

  10. Irecently cancelled an order from a dealer/parts supplier due to the amount of cash i was expected to pay for p&p.

  11. I've noticed some companies are adding VAT after carriage costs......unless they've always done this, and I've not spotted it.

  12. Is it not the case that shipping costs are liable for VAT?

  13. I really don't know? if they are, why? what added value is there? Our postman's a grumpy 2@....I demand a refund

  14. Easter eggs - there a really bad culprit for over packaging. You end up paying loads for an over packaged (albeit attractive looking) shell of chocolate. Rip off!
And I hate blister packs - the plastic is too rigid to get into.

  15. how did you do that with no blade?

Make sure your child's first present at Christmas is an unwrapped Stanley knife then they can sort out the rest of their presents themselves. *

I had to buy a flash drive the 0ther day (not one left in the bag :() the thing is about 1 1/2" long x 1/2" wide.
So why did it need to come on a piece of cardboard 7" x 5" & then plastic over the top. I'm glad I had a knife with me to get it open.
