Is a Bay ever 'beyond repair'?

  1. I think the old adage applies, you pay your money you take the choice. Our bus was bought for (in my opinion) a high price, with recent bodywork and other stuff, we are in a position where we have invested more than the bus is worth but that isn't what we are about. Into the third year of ownership and loving it.

To stick on topic, there must be a point where even throwing money at a bus will not get it back to something worth having, it amazes me though how people restore a bus from what looks like a basket case, as well as pound notes, if there is enough drive and enthusiasm, everything has a chance of being made good.

As the guy who just did our rear corners said, at least you can get the body parts, he does up Mitsubishis and has to make most parts or adapt others.

  2. Paul's already on the case with the motor, I have the gearbox and my mate in Croatia is working on getting me the Doka. :)
It's looking like this is going to be the next project!
