Insuring the van for my 21 year old son

Anyone managed to insure their camper for a 21 year old son? He wants to go away for a few days with his girlfriend and I'm fine with that.

I thought insurance companies were a bit sniffy about insuring U25's on classic car insurance

Sorry, don't know the answer.

 

I was driving my van when I was about 19.
But you might struggle due to not many companies insuring under 25.

I used Adrian flux one year and also used cherished.

 

I met a young lad in a sopped up beetle it was mint and the thing looked very much like it could go some.
He only been driving for over a year and his insurance was £260
Because it was a classic they are cheaper supposedly?
Maybe he was making it up but I was surprised
