Inlet manifold

  1. Got a new inlet manifold from JK as my heat riser tubes are blocked
    Anyway this is the one they have sent

    Has any one fitted one to a 1600 t/p will I need to put gum gum on the new heat riser tubes where
    They go into the manifold ???

  2. was there no way of unblocking old tubes ???? if you could it would be better ,

    if the heat risers are clogged full of soot and carbon, try pouring some white spirit down them and leaving to soak for an hour. Clean the white spirit out and pop some wonder wheels down for a while, this should clean the crap out of them.

    Ive been using this method on some old heat exchangers for oil coolers at work, did the job brilliantly!

    Will see if I can clear out the old one using some of the tips above thanks
