I'm looking for an indicator switch for a 1974 model.

thought they were available new again but got my wires crossed the canoe paddle wash wipe switch is available new again, sorry

That's the one. The one we needed it for we have managed to get it to work but it will need replacing at some point.

 

I need one of these has anyone got one for sale or know we're I can get one from???

Jonathan, what you have pictured above is a pre- August 1972 switch, not a 72- 73 switch as you suggest. See my picture earlier in the thread as to what the post August '72 ones look like.

 

Hi, Yes you are correct, however the only difference being is the larger paddle on the end of the stalk, the wiring and the functions are the same.

That's totally bizarre.. as a 72 had the wash wipe on the dash, not opposite the indicator..

 

My mid-'73 looks like that but has had a motor put in to replace the washer pump and a switch put on the dash, so although the stalk moves like a modern one would - i.e. forwards and backwards - this doesn't do anything!

 

Urgently need 1973 indicator as per original post. Can't get hold of @vwed right now. Anyone else?

Ah not quite that one, as indicator is different to wipers. I'm looking for
211 953 409 H. They have it listed on that website but no stock
