Indicator flashy to muchy after breaky.

  1. Hiya guys, as per the title, I have an issue that when I am indicating and put my foot on the brake the flasher unit starts flashing faster. I'm quite sure this will be a short or grounding issue of some point just wanted to know if this is a common fault and where to look for it? I someone could point me in the right direction that'd be awesome. Sweet
     
  2. usually flashing fast would mean one of you bulbs is gone ....but I'm assuming they are all fine.

    does it only get fast when you apply the brake? .....if so, it will most likely be a bad earth at one of the rear light clusters.

    check they are present, if they are it could be a bad connection, so remove wire, clean terminals and replace wire. Check that the crimp isn't just hanging on by a single strand of wire
     
  3. I was going to say the same as @Diddymen the earth terminals for the rear lights are circled in red in the photo below (at least where they are on my bus).
