Lined paper with tear off perforations at the top...random usage of capitals. Typical old git style . Either that or a flagrant attempt at being of that ilk
So I've been looking for an old git but it could have been sent by a young whippersnapper. Hmmm this makes it considerably trickier.
Odd that the bottom 3cms or so have been torn off the page....either tight fisted and not prepared to give away a full sheet or could have been used as a spill to light a pipe or even a note to the milkman/bookies runner. The possibilities are endless
I hadn't noticed that. It looks like my decision to enlist the deductive powers of TLB ers was the right one. Do you think I should ask everyone to send me a sample of their handwriting?
Well I suspect the individual concerned doesn't often use that form of english when posting on TLB but old habits die hard, hence despite that change to his vernacular to throw you off the scent, the usage of lined stationary slipped through.. Of course I could be wrong...
Pete, there was a guy at the front who just happened to be there and the Wilma's roped him in to make up the numbers. In front of Dubious, Woody was still puzzled and in bed. Bob said he was knackered which meant the same thing. I had just slept in a portaloo and when I got back from the showers got roped in as captain, as I went from van to van rounding up a team I met some sorry states, Thebrickshythousewerks pulled us half way back to the m54. So did the other two teams in fairness!
suspect maybe but prime sorry well passed it . And previous @rickyrooo1 just wanted a little bit of resto done to his bus so i gave something to bargain with, with @Paul Weeding thats all
My addition to this thread is probably more pedantry than relevant but it's actually a Corgi Triumph Herald 948 coupe so no soft top & if you lift forward the bonnet you may even still have a black plastic removable pancake air filter Vrooom!
