  1. how many and what countries would you visit. would you try and do each continent or concentrate on doing as many with shorter stays. also which way - east or west.

for me i'd try to do the following:
    india- 2 weeks
    china via nepal- 1 week
    thailand via nietnam 1 week
then hop over to hawaii for 1 week
then pop to chile and through peru up to mexico for a week
do the length of california for a week
pop to texas for some steaks for a couple of days
then down to florida to have a few chilled days on daytona/cocoa beach before catching a flight back home!

  3. UK,,,all over the place to say hallo to yall. And a trip to LEF :D

  4. Eight weeks is not very long to do a round the world and it would just be a day in each town.

Have a look at dragoman.com they do over landing tours. I just came back from a 3week one in Nepal and northern India it was great.

    Just a thought

  5. Concentrate on a group of countries close to each other.... You could look at Vietnam, Cambodia, Loas and a bit of Thailand and Malaysia in 8 weeks. Always get overnight sleeper trains too and you dont then waste a day travelling......

  6. to be honest I would love to do the UK round the coast...

  7. Personally, I wouldn't do that much flying in 8 weeks to get a taster of a lot of places. Sounds like an ideal amount of time to drive around the USA / Canada though.
