this looks like Rolls has been scavenging through Citroen's bins for discarded car tat ideas.

 

A friend of mine who is fortunate enough to have pots of cash bought himself a rolls royce coupe.. he was really excited to show off the starlight roof cloth.. it had a setting that made the fibre optics change colour as you drove along the road, all very soothing... fast forward a couple of years and my mrs got herself a new Mini, it doesnt quite have the starlight roof liner but it has ambient lighting that you can set to change colour as you drive along.... its bloomin annoying, shes set it on pink .... the blue is cool though..

 

Dont worry pounshop will no doubt sell a self adhesive version for retro fitting?

I think that's rather nice! Specially if they gradually fade to help send you to sleep (I've got a bedside lamp that does that).

The roof is good we have very similar in the aromatherapy room at our old gym, it was very relaxing

 

I did this on a camper for someone with leds a right pain in the butt.
