    Sitting here on my stairs drinking my coffee and watching my kitten running up and down the hallway like a mad animal, what happened to Covid 19 ?

    Still here.
    Still doing things to people that arent yet fully understood.
    Still killing people.
    I keep hearing of people catching it around me.
    The government authorities have decided to stop being bothered with it so they have stopped collecting proper statistics.
    Its still mutating and the nastiest strain might still be on its way
    It can still kill you just like flu.
    It can still give you long COVID.
    If you have long COVID it hasnt gone away.

    I’m still taking all the vaccines that I’m offered. Up to 7 so far. The extra arm comes in usefull :thumbsup:

    Tbh, all joking aside. I haven’t heard of anyone coming down with any Covid related things around here. My wife works in a school, and she hasn’t, either, apart from the normal few kids off Ill with ‘winter related’ things…

    There’s still people getting Covid round near me. I also know 3 people with long covid, one in early 60’s, one in their 40’s and one early 20’s. They are still very much feeling the effects.

    I know of 5 people who have recently got COVID. They have a wide variety of age and worryingly one of whom has got it very badly. I'm hoping they will be OK, but COVID is definitely still around.

    just not in the news any more

    i had a weird flu-y type thing over christmas, all the symptoms of covid (loss of taste, smell etc) but tests said it wasn't covid. way worse than a normal flu

    And reading various sources of credible information versus conspiracists nonsense, enquiries are underway to ascertain why those vaccinated are passing away suddenly.

    Sudden death in the otherwise fit and healthy, younger generations...

    More people died of common flu last year than Covid.
    Any future Nova Virus that comes along will be deadly for a while - until it mutates into a lesser threat and people develop immunity.

    Nobody talk about Covid anymore over here. But lot's are worried about sub 60's people having serious blood related or cancers problems :(
    My mother suffer now from hyper cholesterol and avoid a trombolisis 2 weeks ago.:(
    Covid or vaccine related? How will we ever know?
