I seem to remember getting served by Pete burns in there. Not the norm for me but I reallly like this
Great time for music, wah, bunnies, teardrop explodes, wild swans. There used to be more people on the steps of Probe and round the corner in Harveys (do you remember that place, funny burger/coffee place played all the music that was selling in Probe?) than actually went in and bought records.
I was only there for a day, went up with a band for a gig at Erics. But yeah it was a good time. Deaf School triffic.
He was really supportive of local music, he managed half man, half biscuit for a while and the slits. We got tickets to loads of gigs, mostly Ericss and saw stuff that changed you musically. He would recommend music that took you away from the mainstream. Got me listening to Iggy Pop and lou reed.
Some good names there Hope that wasnt you I spilled my beer on at Eric's. Them were the days, back of a transit sitting on an old Vox amp the length and breadth of england, lugging gear up narrow stairwells.
Rounabouts are just big circles , not quite sure of the name of this one could be bunnyburn or dannyburn or cannyburn ,
