hy all at l/b,just putting stuff back in my westy after some welding work, ,i have cleaned everything up, and about to reassemble the tank, but i am struggling,, tank wont fit in the top engine bay access, and cant slide it in through engine lid,,, do i have to drop the engine a smidge or what ?? thanks im sure it will have been mentioned before,
How did you get it out? If its a Type 1 engine you'd struggle to get it out with engine in. Best to drop the engine and get it in that way.
hy the garage that done welding work took it out with the heater,, just got it in this morning, very very tight squeeze but couple swear words and its in,, just tons of wires now lol happy days
