    He said something along lines of "Hmm - nifty turn of acceleration" at one point - I bet he tried to overtake, just cos he (thought) he could and had to cut him up to avoid an oncoming. Then went on about acceleration being used for safety (trying to convince his missus who also nearly died in the head-on).

    to me it just proves these "advanced" drivers are cocks - be it in the 60's or today.

    Most people think they're good drivers, whether they're fast and "skilful" or slow and irritating to other road users. ;)
     
  5. i really liked that video for many reasons...first i thought my dad garage was going to be on it....he and his dad had a garage in thatcham...on the a4 just about 10 miles short of the half way mark between london and bristol. newbury is featured where i live but the garage was a well known in the old days. the type of car seen where around in the workshops when i was small we lived at the garage next door and the type of language used reminds me of my late dad. im sure thats how cars got in the blood but he warned me off being a mechanic so i became an electrician instead...and now im rambling...great video....and thanks for posting
