How many different counties have you lived in?

So many Brits there, I think it does count as a UK county.

 

Just realised, I could also include Avon, but it was never a proper county, so best to gloss over that unfortunate period of local government history.

We've got a new on-line system at work to request shipment of stuff about the place. It insists you include the 'state' in the address, and won't let you progress until you get it right. A Swiss colleague of mine had to send something to Liverpool, and couldn't identify the 'state' it was in, and asked me for help. I said that Liverpool used to be in a bad state, but since all the European money it's in a much better state now. That didn't help.

Born in Sheffield, which is in South Yorkshire. Lived in several houses/ prefabs, all in Sheffield, which is in South Yorkshire. Now live in Rotherham, close to the Sheffield border, which is in South Yorkshire.

It don't get much better.
