Had bus lowered but need to find driveable height its to low at moment and keeps catching whats a rough height for front end. Got dropped spindles and waggen so hopefully can set up just not sure how.
that's exactly why I unlowered mine, even on 65 profile tyres we had issues as you describe..Wagenswest drop spindles removed & gone back to stock, Major drives like a dream now!
See where you coming from, but my garage is low so have no choice. Its slammed at moment but was looking at playing tomorrow
I've got a slamwerks beam & T2D dropped spindles with Coilover shocks. I get the occasional rub but nothing more than a quick "paff" I'm running 15" wheels with 165/50/15 on the front & the rear I've 185/65/15 Any pictures???
whs^^^ i had type 2 dropped spindles i just couldnt get it to stop rubbing they where a big waste of cash
Running same tyres/wheel combination, spindles and fully adjusted Wagenwest as high but still was rubbing are coilover shocks making that much difference ? what sort you got ?
I've got some Empi's but T2D sell them now... http://www.type2detectives.com/front-end-parts/t2d-coilover-shocks-detail
After mucho trial and error at my local garage I'm 195/50/15" which was the only way to stop the tub rub. It's dropped spindles and coil overs. A reasonable ride, better at speed
Need to replace all shocks anyway as bus drifts at cruise speeds, had nt budgeted on fitting coil overs just gas shocks all round. Bit unsure now will research. Was hoping to spend max £250 all round on parts any further advise ? T2 detectives seem a good front option what about rears, ?
