How long has your bus been off the road?

Are you restoring it? How long has it taken so far?

A year and a half by me and (I am told) 7 years by PO

 

Too long - mainly down to the weather 10 months at the moment but guess thats not too bad for a full resto - thats what I keep telling Mrs B anyway! )

 

25 days.

 

Since Slough, and it'll be off the road until the sun comes out.

 

Mines been in the Garage (Mechanics) since the mid October, M&D had it for a while doing the bulk of fitting twin dells.. I dropped it of to NorthPark garage for the fine tuning etc etc...

I told them I didn't need it until Winter Camp... and guess what, they haven't looked at it )

Oh well, free indoor winter storage in their warm workshop...


But I need it next Friday

 

Since September 2009 and counting, an engine rebuild, two kids and life have got in the way....

Have recently got off the fags though and its given me a motivational kick, so now have rebuilt the brakes and got a new battery ready to fit, hopefully drag it out this year and use it.

Or it will happen next year maybe

 

April 2011 is when I got it, it's been off the road since 2008 I think.

 

mine went off the road at the start of 2008, bought it in june 2011,
i expect itll be on the road in a year. fingers x'd

 

Nearly 6 years in the Garage should be approx another year to get back on!

The 6 years was just sleeping! No work just a skim of dust all over!

Oscar is now rolled and is being cut and welded with lots of new panels etc.

Took mine off the road when i bought it in august 2010, and it hasn't turned a wheel in anger since
My biggest blocker to getting it finished is having to do all the work on the drive, between March and October
If all goes to plan maybe this year will be the year

 

Since May 2011. Nearly done, just a few odds and ends to fit to get an MOT done, then it's the electrics and interior to fit.

 

18 months so far but close now (maybe).

 

Last tax ran out July 2000!!!!!

Let it sit for about 10 years, too many things got in the way, been back on it big time for the last 18 months, fingers crossed she'll take me to Bug Jam this year,!
