im about to fit my new rear lower valance (below engine lid) what do I do with the ends? The ends are folded outward & are obviously supposed to be welded onto something but what?

  2. The corresponding tabs on the rear quarter panels are crimped over them, to make a large sticky-out seam (too dark to go out and check).

Here you go, there is a tab which sticks out on the body which the end tabs on the valance fold around 20170531_160858681_iOS.jpg :

Ok so I’ll have to weld 2 plates onto my 1/4 panels ?

you should have that sticky out tab, ours had a rotten section which needed replacing, hence the pic of it welded.

Have you got an image of what yours looks like around that area? If yours hasn't got the tab then yes you will need to fab something up

I’ve fitted 2 new corners which don’t have any tabs attached

Ahh, that makes sense. If you offer the valance up, you should be able to see how the tabs should fit & where to ensure correct alignment
