OK so, after you've stopped laughing and picked yourself up off the floor - honestly, ever since the site facelift I can't seem to find my PM's anywhere. Can anyone help?? I'm willing to accept I am the only stupid one on the forum .....
Assuming you mean your old ones you don't: They've been lost. (Unless I've missed something in the last few days) New ones are called "conversations" and are up there ^^^ in "inbox".
If you go to your inbox (top right ) they are now referred to as "conversations". And before you ask I haven't a clue as to why the rename..
if you had pm's from the old site sent as e-mail notifications they will still be in your e-mail unless you deleted them, as said above if you didn't you've lost them.... i lost a few i really needed plus a lot of bookmarked threads too but life goes on.
The status hasn't changed on the messages but they aren't lost. Currently not available to users but if you have something you desperately need and you don't mind me seeing it then I can get it for you.
As an aside to "conversations" presumably the private bit is no longer valid ie something like say a phone number would be visible to all who looked at the "conversations" section on a profile.
I shall have to give it another try. The first time out I could read someone elses conversation with the same Member.
