How do I connect my gas up?

Evening all, advice needed as usual. How do I connect a gas bottle to my Westy berlin cooker? Ive got the cal or gas bottle regulator and hose, but how do you connect the hose to the cooker? I brought one of these http://huddersfield-gas.co.uk/produ...nector-to-10mm-lp-nozzle-to-fit-8mm-hose-19b/
But the thread isn't deep enough to connect properly, thinking I need some sort of different connector. Thinking I might not get rid of the underslung tank after all. Cheers

Can you do a PIC of what you have on the cooker end

 

Cheers would do but I can't manage to upload one it says the image is to big. Gonna take a trip to a small independent plumbers they should know the fitting I need.

Also on mine, which is a German spec Berlin, I found that certain gas fittings are not compatible with UK. Just something to look out for.

 

Ditto with mine. Swapped it over
