Any ideas how i can get my sliding door forward a bit more The gap towards the rear is tight and the front gap is in need of closing up a bit , Ive undone the 4 bolts on the lock and got a small amont of movement but not enough , I have also at great expense bought a new top of the range seal and its fitted the right way round .
Have you tried slackening off the 4 bolts which hold the U link? There's 2 at the back and 2 inside under the rear handle. They give a bit of back to front adjustment.
Is the gap under the above hinge correct between door and body Have you had any repairs on the b pillar
Have you tried pushing the handle up when the door is shut JD? , it pulls it in.might sound daft but my panel has that system whereas my camper didnt and I wondered about the gap.Hope I'm not teaching granny etc.

What about the block that the rear door mechanism catches on to. Can't remember but that might have some adjustment?
He popped by this morning had breakfast and made my slider work far better than it ever has in my ownership, he then realigned my passenger door for good measure. I wish I lived closer to him I would be getting some serious stuff achieved.
