Horn died and the new one doesn't sound like herbie anymore. :-(

The horn on my camper died so i took a trip to the scrapyard and got one off a VW t4 for £2. One of the only vehicles i could find that didn't have a stupid multi plug on the back.

It used to have a sound like this - an old wheezey herbie quack and i loved it:

Now its just a boring loud beep.

Worse still its made in Italy.

 

no matter what I type about horns ....it just sound sooo wrong ....or in some people minds so right
