  5. Astrophysics is my flavour of choice but anything to do with the two will do. I send a lot of time researching and reading books and just would like something to show for it. Also if my trade slows down it would be good to have some qualifications to fall back on as I am self taught in my profession it may also give me a way out of what I already do as job satis[glow=red,2,300]FACT[/glow]ion isn't really happening although the money is good (but not everything)

  7. Right. I managed to find some coarse's that won cost me an arm and a leg. I can pay module by module which works out around £175 each. Which is a lot easier to handle rather than the £15000 they want for a Phd in three instalments. Im hoping that if i do well enough i can get a scholarship from somewhere but that's a long way in the future. There at John Moores University in Liverpool and I've already applied and been accepted. Sweet

  8. PhD? You do realise that's Postgraduate don't you? Hence the fee in three instalments...

Doing a degree with the Open University is great and you can spread the cost. I chose to do a BA with them ten years ago and it was one of the best decisions I ever made.
