Hi All

I'm Alex, Don't shoot but I own a 69 earlybay not a Late, but my first van which I bought when I was 19 was a Late Bay Panelvan.

I am more down the modified and custom route than stock, running a 2276cc engine and a freeway flyer gearbox.

I am going to be browsing the forum on behalf of the company and here to try and help out with any technical advise I can give, but also to be your point of contact here at VW Heritage. Hopefully having a name will help you to get answers you need from us and also us to contribute more to the scene.

on a herritage point, do you know why the dicount code doesnt seem to actualy give any discount?

If you have used the code before it will automatically be applied to your account already, so the prices you see are the already discounted ones rather than pre discount price. Also if the item is in our sale the sale price will be better than the discount so you'll recieve the sale price.

You should be getting a 5% discount on EVERYTHING,

Currently there is a 10% sale on all orders over £100 (till the end of Dec) which is obviously better than the club discount.

Hope this makes things clearer.

If you want to email me with your home postcode and the email address you access our site with I can check and ensure the discount is applied to your account.

Personally I think 5% is a bit tight and should be nearer 15%. Just think about all the extra business you'll get.

don't knock it.... i found 2 cali triangle port exhausts on there this morning!

granted they were empi but it's the 1st new exhaust i've found in the uk for my van

 

Anna is now working downstairs in the new products team (but did tell me you were a lovely bunch) on our golf range of parts, hence why I have stepped in here!

 

You are right the search function is not great and being worked on as I type, they are hoping to have this improved soon, but as with all IT development it is taking a little time to get right.
