Greetings all, Im Paul (Flats) Flatley , a firefighter from Preston Lancs. Im new to the VW scene, yearned for one for years and just bought a 74 tin top Bay . I draw caricatures at festivals and weddings in my spare time and got fed up of erecting a stall so thought id combine my love of drawing and vws and introduce "Dub-ble take, the Caricature bus" to the music and vw festival scene this summer, first outing probably 'cock-rock or Kendal Calling. Im learning loads from the advice and mech forums here so many thanks and hope to keep you updated with how Myrtle is coming on . Great site .

Many thanks for the warm welcome, im reading , learning and hopefully absorbing all the sound advice from the site. Im intending to do all the work needed on my bus myself , im really enjoying getting my hands dirty and learning about old school mechanics again .
