Hi everyone, I'm new here... joined another forum but no one ever goes on there!!!

Meet Heidi, our new 1979 Bay with sun roof.
We picked her up last wednesday.These are pictures before we bought her home







PS second picture, long trim under last window... what's it called and where can I get a new one/pair!!!

That dented bit at the back, under the rear side window?
If I'm not mistaken, it's this. (And this is the other half of the pair.)
Someone on here will probably be able to help you out with a second-hand one if you prefer.

I like your bus a lot - nice patina!

The panel is called the sliding door track cover, you can get them for both sides, just make sure you order the one specific for a left or right hand drive slider as they are shaped differently - a lot of places sell them brand new.

I'd go for used part if you can - I have repro ones and they don't fit as well not as they as heavy as the originals ones - also, there is a rubber trim strip that sites between the cover and the van body.
