Being as I was darn sarff today we took dave butters bus over to Silvers to change the cv joints, or so I thought ? one of the rear wheel bearings was completly shot, luckily Silver had one in his garage, what a life saver coz we'd have been stuck until tuesday when the shops re-open, he should change his name to "Gold"
Thanks Woody, it was some much needed maintenance and shows the sort of damage you can be unaware of between MOTs. I was pleased to be able to help out. Safe trip back up norff.
Yeah Dave told me it was making a noise when going round bends so I assumed it was the cv joints, wheel nearly fell off when we jacked it up
Silver is a dude of the highest order and his kids do him very proud Silver has sent me the tiniest little things through the post that has lifted my day loads I remember recieving a mph speedo off him and hed included the tiny little white plastic bits that hold the brake line to the chassis because id mentioned them at some point Top bloke and very humble and a back bone of tlb
Nice one silver, Makes me think I should get my old girl jacked up n give her the once over. !!!!!!!!
