May I ask the mods to leave this in General Discussions because it isn't a help Tilly won't start or stuck in gear it is a plea for help Back in November I started replacing all the fuel hoses on Tilly and all went well with all major hoseses, filler and bŕatgers done and most of the body bits and carbs refitted then in December I was readmitted to hospital when my cancer returned. I had the colonoscopy more or less removed and an ilisoscopy carried out. What I am asking for is there anyone in Cambridge area who could help me finish putting Tilly back together and running. I have all the tools you may need I will also be doing some bits myself but I cannot clamber underneath to refit some tinware. I am willing to pay for the help and I as some of you know am a mechanic. I am asking for help from anyone who is able to complete repairs. Not give a traing lesson. If you can help PM me please it is genuine Thank you.
Hope you find someone local! If not, could you get a trailer and get it to Lutterworth in May? There are always plenty of willing volunteers there!
Wish i was closer mate I would be happy to help. I am sure someone on here will be not far from you & can lend a hand.
8 Cheers i am sure I will get her moving one way or another. I appreciate the advice of getting Tilly on a trailer the problem is my fuel system is a fraction from being completed so until that is reconnected 100% I cannot move Tilly.at all Many thanks thanks for all input but my eggs are not all in one basket I am trying other options too
Recovery companies would be able to sort that possibly? If the vehicle is accessible then it could be winched. If it's rolling on 4 wheels it can be pushed to be winched? Dunno, perhaps that's not a thing, but don't discount Tech Ender's as an option because we would pull together if you can get the bus there...
