    please help me!

  2. Not an expert.. But you'll need a bigger seal.

  3. brought these from vw heritage they have an insert to put in after installing the window

  4. Where did you get your seals from they are s**t there is a 1 mm gap either side for the glass and the steel but the glass is 5mm thick I ended up using my old seals!
When fitted with glass there is no way to get the chrome beading in it's way to tight even with the diamond lacing tool.
If you put the seal on first then push the glass into the seal that's how we did and a blunt wallpaper stripper to get it round the glass I hope you don't have the same problem I did any help needed let me know hate to be the bearer of bad news :(

  5. The rubber should have 3 slots in it.

2 opposite each other and a thrid on the side.

Of the 2 opposite slots, if there's a thicker gap, that's where the glass sits.

Slot the seal onto the frame of the van pushing as much legnth in as you can.

I usually put the joint at the top in the middle.

You'll have to cut off the excess, do this as squarely as you can so the ends sit tightly against each other.

Then lube up the seal slot for the glass.

Get a friend to help with this next part, one in the van and one outside.

Slide the glass into the seal along the top and bottom from one side and push accross as far as you can.

I then use a flat plastic trim tool to poke the seal to sit right

Then use a diamond lacing tool to fit the insert
