hi peeps, im replacing the fuel tank in my 79 bay 2.0 injection cali import, ive bought new tank, its made by dansk and listed as use for carb or injection. it has one 5mm outlet on the bottom as per original and one threaded stub for a union to go onto but has a blank cap screwed on. now my original tank had two pipes at the bottom side by side, one for flow and other for return and both aprox 8mm diameter. the new tank lower corner pipe is only 5mm so i assume this can only be the return feed and the screwthread stub with the blank on it must be the flow out as the injection pump will need at least 8mm size bore as original so i must need some flange nut and pipe that connects to the outlet but i aint got one, none in the box.. what to do? where to get such???any help please???
Is it one of these you need? http://www.justkampers.com/vw-t2-ba...-split-1961-1967-vw-type-2-bay-1967-1979.html
