Been running my bus as a daily driver and every time i put my foot on the the brake my side lights come on Whats going on Thanks Simon
Slightly more helpfully, try cleaning the earth connection on your rear clusters, if both brake & sidelights come on...
That sound goods lol . It never happed until i changed the rear light but the fittin was diffrent So could the wires be wrong and what colour to the brake lights . The new units have the pins next to each other and the old 1 had the pins top and bottom So could this be wrong
The bulbs are in as far as they will go So i think its the wires could be the wrong way round but i cannot work out what colour wires got to the terminal
you need a multimeter or another lampholder with a lamp and a pair of wires on it... to test the wiring while someone presses the switches...
I had this once in an old ford fiesta that I had stuck cheap bulbs in. only stopped when I put genuine ones in! Never did find out why :/
