    Unless you..
    1. Have a sentimental value in the bus
    2. Have a keen interest in restoration and are willing to do it yourself
    3. Have more money that sense

    It's not really worth starting a resto.

    It will work out cheaper to just buy a decent one.
    Mine has cost me £9455 so far.. And if you look at its current state in my restoration thread, you may see what I mean.
    My timescale and budget was 1 year, £10,000... It's now 3 years and £15,000 (hopefully)

    P.s. My story is based on option 2.

  3. Try DTH in Tillicoultry. The are recommended by the West of Scotland VW club. Whereabouts are you exactly?
