Afternoon good folks, As many of you will know I've been messing around trying to finish getting my type 1 1600 engine up and running. Its in the bus but despite a good time tinkering and lots of wonderful advice from the folks on this forum it seems I'm pretty much rubbing my head on the ceiling of my knowledge and experience. I'm pretty loath to admit it but I'm at a bit of a loss at the mo on how to set it up correctly and get it running well enough to drive. I was wondering if there'd be anyone in the Bristol area (near temple meads) with a smidgen more experience than myself who'd be nice enough to pop over for a short time and take a peak? As well as being (eternally ;-) grateful, I'd be happy to chip in some dosh or repay the favour as needed. here's to hopefully not stretching the bounds of goodwill...... nick

I can come amd cast an eye over it no problem over Christmas some time. I'm just up the wells road. I'm no expert but know the basics.

I might be able to get round earlier. I should be back sometime the weekend but might have to go to France next Monday - Wednesday. Could possibly look the end of next week or anytime over Christmas. All depends when you need it running!
