Hi, been lurking around the forum for the last few months and thought I'd pop up and say hello! We've been considering buying a VW and after a bit of reading and research we've narrowed our choice down to a late bay. For our holiday this year we hired a 'Shrek' who was a camper from Kombi Kampers in Wareham, really as a prolonged test drive, to see if all 5 of us can fit in. Which means we are now hooked! In conversation with a couple through ebay at the moment so hoping to be able to take the plunge soon! Is the newbie thread for some basic questions i've got? Cheers Dave

It's about time I did something I'm new at, but being so old there isn't much left that appeals. When I eventually move aboard/afloat, that'll be a new thing

I am a reasonable new bod too, joined March, these folks are helpful and friendly , depending the the questions you can post them in the relevant forum............eg mech tech..............general etc. If it is a question about a bus you are looking at e.g ........'is it a ringer' post up in general and you will get plenty of opinions ( wanted or not ). Good luck on your bus hunt! Looking forward to seeing which one you chose !
A belated welcome from the Robo's, good look with your bus hunt but don't worry too much as most find it's not you that finds the bus it's the bus that will find you. We have just got back from 5 nights on the north norfolk coast and spotted loads of other campers, quite a few hired ones too! We spoke to one chap who was doing exactly what you did, try before you buy
