Allow myself to indroduce.....myself. Hi, I'm Adam, I'm married to Lucy and we have 2 girls, Rosie (4) and Holly (2). We got our van 'Moominbus' in April this year and I've been hovering around this forum ever since. Moominbus is a 1973 converted panel van with a Dormobile roof and a few Dormobile accessories inside - whether all this was done by Dormobile is not certain. She needs a bit of TLC but she is getting us around and the whole family enjoy her very much. I plan to do the work a bit at a time so she is never off the road for too long but we'll have to see what the reality is! First up is a bit more attention to the engine (she still has the fuel filter in the engine bay, etc.), then some repairs to the roof (the metal bit!) and then hopefully back to standard height. There is plenty more to do but that should keep me going for a while. Moominbus is our first VW so it's all a bit of a learning curve but I'm already enjoying the relative simplicity of the engine (which is from a beetle). This forum has already been a great help and it's nice to know there are so many helpful people out there. Hope to see you out and about, Adam, Lucy, Rosie and Holly.

Thanks for your comments. Rosie is quite cute - from a distance. Likewise the rust and filler cracks don't show up unless you're close to the bus! Lucy is responsible for the flowers, there are more to come. As far as I can tell she is about the 100th non tax exempt bus to come off the line - oh well
