Hi guys. I thought I'd take a mo to introduce myself. The name's Tony and I'm addicted to campervans. I've still to own my first one but I do have an American 1.7 CB type4 engine in the garage that I'm working on. I'm on the look out for a few parts if anyone has some spare bits they would care to sell on:- Distributor, coil, leads, dual solex carbs, fan/pulley, thermostat & housing and cooling flaps would be fantastic :0) Anyway fingers crossed this forum will be a great source of information and hopefully I'll pick up a van so my wife and wee girl can enjoy campervans too Regards Tony

Welcome. It was the best thing we ever did was getting a bay. I was wanting one for 15 years and also put myself off it and then when I finally done it I wished I did it years ago. Just get one and enjoy life
Hello and welcome. I have a rotten, stripped and soon to be scrap body shell if you want to practice some cutting and welding.
Thanks for all the hellos :0) It's a right ol' busy forum, lovin' it. I've rattle a few things off my list already :0) Distributor , dual solex carbs, air filter housing, fan/pulley, thermostat housing and the flap above the oil cooler (and possibly a good alternator) are all sourced coil, leads, the rhs cooling flap, and thermostat and cable are still work in progress Need to find a van now to put my engine into. Silver:- if you were closer I might have taken you up on the shell, thanks for the offer though. Regards Tony
