heating

I have a Truma E2400 in a custom box mounted under the floor plumbed into the original heater vents, so with the heat selected closed on the dash the heat comes through the foot vents, and front and rear vents in the back (I have a late westy Berlin with a vent in the back seat) the blower isn't as powerful as an eber, but because of that it doesn't sound like a jet engine either, just a nice gentle hot flow into the bus, controlled on a thermostat so once up to desired temp flicks off and on as required.

    I have lots of insulation and thermo mats so its been toasty winter camping

  17. i work on the basis that the more there is in the van, the more can go wrong. Nothing wrong with a bit of fresh cold air. We're more spring / summer over-nighters anyways.

    you are right but its also knowing where to stop spending and i dont know where that is :help-sos: :help-sos:

  20. cost as well but i have other things to spend my money on - all very well having a warm van as long as it goes :)
