  1. Hi everyone! I'm missing a heater hose from the y joint backwards but can't find it on justkampers and Vw heritage... Could somebody point me in the right direction to find a replacement please? Thanks in advice..[IMG]

That Y piece isn't original and nor is the hose you do have. The Y would have been above the beam with 2 concertina pipes between it and the heat exchangers, so you'll have to measure the cardboard/ali one you have and copy it.

  5. Your Y-piece does look like a bit of PVC sewer pipe...

Looks like metal to me, and a "best of a bad job" to get the heating going. Nowt wrong with that especially when the alternative is wrestling with a 2 part fibre glass thing and JK melting concertina tubes... Perhaps @poptop2 can help, he's been doing the same job recently.

  7. Well that all makes sense now! So 60mm warm air ducting it is then....With that hole at the Y joint blocked it gets nice toasty up front with the fan running, so its not to bad for a 'best of a bad job'... Thanks for the help and tips
