I have a type 4 which replaced the original 1.6 engine , i'am in the process of replacing the heater cables , one of which is bust but the right hand side is operating ok question is will the 1.6 cables or cable still fit the pod lever .....i know they are different part numbers just wondering which one is longer or shorter in the hope that it might still fit .....as we all know original is best .thanks .
