WANTED heat exchanger asap !!

hi guys fitting my engine today and the left side heat exchanger had been repaired (quite a few times by the look) need 1 asap i can drive pick it up in morning if ur not in another country as not to dear need ur help on this 1 guys this is the gremlin in question

 

I think @chancee may have some for sale, in the 'For Sale' section, but he's not local.

It is the ones you need, I was going to buy them but wanted originals so I left them. They have the little bit of pipe that pops into the head. Oval ports.

 

That's a shame it sounds like they are uk spec, I've got some USA ones that are spot on.

 

Yeah that's them just miles away just wiring up engine new servo hose in then he is ready to fire minus the heat ex !!!

 

What ones have u got bud !! One have a lip in then oval bit on top

You could always trim down the oval lip on the top of them and they'll seal with the gasket against your exhaust ports, so I've heard?

 

can you confirm you need square or oval port heat exchangers?

 

It's all good managed to get a genuine set for £120 from volksheaven posted that was be here today !!

No bud just used looks like they been sat along time but only surface rust never been repaired either pretty solid for the price !!
