Hazard Flasher Relay ~ are they all this busy?

Was only replacing the radio & tracked back one of the wires (through a few splices & connectors) to this hazard relay


Are they all this hectic?

 

That's the hazard switch and it looks normal

 

^this. It's the switch. The relay lives under the fusebox. PS Clean it!!!

 

All cleaned & slowly replacing dodgy bits of wiring.

What do the numbers on the back signify?

 

They are the switch terminal numbers.

 

They're Bosch terminal numbers - you'll find a list online. They also appear on the wiring diagram, so you know what's connected to what.

Have a look at the wiring diagram below. The hazard light switch is item E3. The terminal numbers are shown on the various components.
Also, the numbers inside the wires are the wire size in millimeters squared (mm2).
