I was reading today that 1 in 10 men have bought last minute gifts from petrol stations on their way to visit loved ones. 1 in 5 buy presents on Christmas Eve. I've got to say I'm pretty good at buying early. Anybody out there waiting for the petrol station run?
Whisky ..... check Gin ........... check Vodka ...... check Beer ........ check Bourbon .. check Brandy .... check Ciggies .... check Yep!! I reckon I've done my Christmas shopping > Should I get something for the missus?
Christmas eve shopping is the best! Stop off for a pint or two in the local on the way and then a quick stint round town before the shops shut..jobs a goodun 8) The wife likes to be a bit more organised though...judging by the length of the list she is frantically writing as we speak, the credit card is going to get a hammering tomorrow! And yes, I have done the petrol station thing in the past on the way to the folks on Christmas day....the look on their faces as they unwrapped their Ginsters was worth the effort I reckon..
Decided to make em this year from discarded /scrounged bits >so one 20 " (heading for the bin) christmas tree and one pot (soup?) and some unloved decorations . inc. baloons ! so, tree intoo pot , bit of cement , 3 days hence (2 let cement set)and my pal who is working christmas eve will have a bit of christmas cheer!!!(i hope !)
My wife does all the Christmas shopping because I am disorganised and overworked just before Christmas and she is wonderful and organised and loves me.
