This is my first ever VW Boris the Palomino. I sold him about 7/8 years ago to someone in Leeds. I loved that bus so much and it was the worst mistake of my life was selling it but I had no choice as the engine blew and I was single and poor at the time and just didn't have the money or the know how to get it sorted :-( I have contacted the DVLA and they have told me that the tax was due at the end of March and that it is registered to "trade" that could mean it is either for sale somewhere or possibly dead (it kills me to think of that being the case) It is registered as being white on the DVLA. So please keep a look out and let me know if you spot him.
I have looked everywhere on ebay, google, autotrader,the Palomino Club and have spent hours trawling the internet and the but still nothing
I am always on the lookout for him, never seen him at a show or anywhere else, for all I know the roof could have been chopped and he could be bright pink and called Doris now..it is so frustrating, I hope that he is still on the road, I would buy him back if I could find him.
Never seen anything like that , will keep a look out at events though and look through all my pics and check reg number
